On Saturday, Varanasi district of UP (India) reported a surge in the fresh Covid-19 cases. The present situation in the state is improving gradually in the presence of an increased recovery rate which is hovering at 93.22% (on Saturday).
With these figures, the positivity rate was found to be 1.25% in the state. All the above figures give a clear hint that the overall situation due to COVID-19 is improving at a steady pace.
73 Fresh COVID-19 Cases Surface In Varanasi District of India
As per a news update given by a daily news bulletin, as many as 73 people were tested positive on Saturday against 5,834 tests conducted.
Out of these figures, as many as 146 patients are sent for home isolation. The report later stated that those in isolation were cured in the district without any hurdles.
At present, Varanasi district of UP (India) has a total of 864 active Covid cases. However, the local government bodies continue to preach that people should always be cautious and need to take every possible precaution to stay away from coronavirus infection.
In Chandauli district, new COVID-19 cases were reported on Saturday. The report says as many as 4 women were tested positive while 20 people were sent to home isolation. They were later declared to have been cured.
At present there are 64 fresh Covid-19 cases reported in the Chandauli district of UP.
As per the data from Jaunpur district arrived, it too reflected fresh Covid-19 cases. The report stated as many as 12 new Covid-19 cases on Saturday. The report also included the recovery of as many as 37 patients as well.
Currently, the district in India has a total of 134 fresh Covid-19 cases with a recovery of 92.37%. The positivity rate stood at 0.41%.
