Dengue Cases Continue to Surge in Lucknow

What looks alarming right now is the number of new dengue cases in Lucknow (India). As many as 39 new dengue cases were reported in Lucknow on Tuesday.

Out of the total number of such cases, Alambagh reported as many as 9 cases of dengue. In addition to this, 6 cases were reported from Aliganj.

Due to the current spike in the number of new dengue cases, local residents looked highly unsatisfied with the efforts of Municipal Corporation and the health department.

It’s mainly because they have almost failed to check the mosquito breeding places in new localities. They also stated that civic authorities are simply not carrying their fogging and anti-larvae drives.

Looking at the panic situation due to the piling up of new cases. health department and the malaria department surveyed mosquito breeding conditions in 1,167 houses.

Some other places or affected areas include Chowk, Tudiyaganj, Sarojininagar, Hazratganj, Indira Nagar, Aliganj, and Alambagh.

During the drive of authorities, they found as many as 28 houses carrying dengue mosquito larvae. After this happened, the local authorities spread the anti-larva spray and also issued notices to their owners.
