End of Third Wave Near, Say Health Department Officials

End of Third Wave Near: After analyzing every situation in the country, the health department has concluded that the end of third wave is almost there.

The data saying it all! The health officials showed the data of Raipur with some exciting figures. For example, the infection rate in the state has declined to 3.38% indicating the end of 3rd wave.

In addition to this, the state also witnessed the number of recoveries that are presently outnumbering the total number of fresh covid infections.

They found as many as 573 new cases against 860 recoveries on Sunday (February 13, 2022). However, 5 people are reported to have died due to Covid in the state.

At present Raipur state of India has the highest tally of active covid cases that need to be handled. For example, there are 561 active cases in Durg and 470 in Rajnandgaon. The lowest number of active COVID-19 cases found in Kanker at 8.

As per the health officials, the decline of the 3rd wave is already there and the virus spread is under control. In addition to this, the infection rate has also come down to 3%.

As per the latest update, health department is observing 35,000 people on a daily basis. No place is being avoided. For example, tests are being conducted at public places like bus stands, railway station, airport and other public spots.

Those coming in the country from abroad are being kept made under self isolation for 5 days. Their samples are being sent to Bhubaneshwar lab to test for Omicron variant.
