New Covid Cases In Karnataka Dip Further, Positivity Rate Below 3%

New Covid cases in Karnataka has dipped further. This is what the latest report in the state says. At present the total number of active COVID-19  stands at 38,747.

Out of these numbers, a total of 8,988 people have been recovered so far. They have now been discharged from the hospital as well.

If we talk about the new Covid cases in Karnataka, they stand at 3,202. These numbers were recoded in the past 24 hours. Looking at the figures, there is a clear dip in the number (as per the data given by the health department).

Sudhakar K, who’s the health minister of the state stated that positivity rate of has fallen below 3%. For example, the capital city Bengaluru recorded up to 1,293 fresh cases.

Taking all the above figures in record, the total number of active Covid-19 cases stands at 38,747.

On the other hand, Bengaluru’s active cases stand at 16,000. Out of this, 8,988 people were discharged after they were fully recovered.

The same was the case with other districts in Karnataka. One of the districts named Belagavi recorded 250 new cases. In the same ways, Mysuru recorded 197, Tumkur recorded 155 and Ballari recorded Ballari cases.

A total of 19 causalities happened in the state. Out of them 4 recorded in Dakshina Kannada, 3 in Haveri and 2 each in Tumakuru, Raichur, Mysuru, Dharwad, Bidar and Ballari. The good news is that there were no causalities in 12 districts.

As the positivity rate in the number of covid cases continues to go up , there are chances that the government take a decision to give more relaxation in some other services. For now, schools and other educational institutions have been ordered to reopen.
