Tamil Nadu Held A Mega COVID Vaccination Camp on June 12

As per the latest Health News, Tamil Nadu (India) held a mega COVID vaccination camp on June 12. The camp was made across 1 lakh centers across the state, as per the official statement released by the state health department.

It’s been found that over 1.64 crore people are yet to get the COVID-19 vaccine in the state. Due to this, the state authorities decided to organize a mega camp so as to include maximum amount of population this time.

The COVID vaccination drive was well commenced through all the news channels like newspapers, TV and radio. They urged people to join the mega vaccination drive and take the necessary jab.

This is what the health minister of the sate Ma Subramanian had to say, “This has been made possible due to the inspirational leadership of our Chief Minister (MK Stalin) as well as the undying spirit of health department professionals.”

While reprinting his views on the threat posed by the new and emerging Omicron variant of COVID-19, he stated that travelers coming from the countries like South Africa will now have to undergo quarantine for eight days.

He also said that the state is slowly nearing the national average on such a huge COVID vaccination camp where almost 78 lakh people are expected to take the jab (2nd dose pf COVID vaccine).
