Covid-19 Cases: Even after days are being passed, there is no respite in the number of emerging Covid-19 cases across the country.
As you can see from the statistics, India continues to report its highest single day covid-19 deaths on Saturday as well. As per the data, more than 3700 people succumbed to the coronavirus.
Leave about major cities like Mumbai, Delhi, there is no respite in the number of death toll in small states like Uttarakhand. The state reported more than 100 causalities for the 2nd day itself.
Another state to join is Bengal which reported death toll in 3 figures for the first time. The latest update about Covid-19 cases is that the overall figures dipped slightly as compared to Friday’s record number of cases from 4 lakh to 3.92 lakh Covid-19 cases.
Referring to the number of Covid-19 cases, Supreme Court of India has asked the central government to consider imposing lockdown in the country as this is the only way to curb the deadly coronavirus. It will also help bring down the number of casualties in an appreciable manner.
Now, it’s to be seen if the central government dares to take the decision to impose lockdown in the entire country.
You might remember this happened last year when the coronavirus wave had freshly arrived in the country and the government immediately imposed lockdown.
Referring to the steep rise in the number of Covid cases, it looks like the government to impose lockdown. It can happen as there is no respite from the above menace.
