In the recent past, more young adults have been found falling prey to the marijuana abuse. There are many types of hallucinogen that young adults are taking these days. All such substances are making them fall into addiction.
The use of marijuana abuse and other similar substances have been increased for the last 10 years.
If you look at the rates of past-month nicotine vaping, they have been slowly increasing for the last 4 years or so.
Among various substances, alcohol continues to be the most used substances for the recent past.
In the same way, binge drinking is also found to be rebounded in 2021.

Alcohol & Marijuana Abuse Among Young Adults
In order to reduce marijuana Abuse and other similar substances, there is a need to know more about how young adults continue to fall prey of various hallucinogens.
This is what the National Institute on Drug Abuse Director Nora Volkow has to say, “As the drug landscape shifts over time, this data provides a window into the substances and patterns of use favored by young adults. We need to know more about how young adults are using drugs like marijuana and hallucinogens, and the health effects that result from consuming different potencies and forms of these substances,” he said.
He added, Young adults are in a critical life stage and honing their ability to make informed choices. Understanding how substance use can impact the formative choices in young adulthood is critical to help position the new generations for success.” he said.
